On the 20th of May our Club hosted TKFGB’s National Squad training and the 1st Traditional Karate London Cup. The training session led by Sensei Lukasz Radwanski (4Dan – multiple times World and Europe Champion in kumite and fuku-go) was focused on sasoi-waza (inviting the technique) and its applications in kumite.
The competition was well attended by juniors and seniors competing in kata and kumite. The dedication, desire, determination and effort were great with each competitor giving at least good performance. As one of them said – “By taking part in competition you will have fun while gaining a new perspective on yourself”.
Our members did very well:

Filip Dębowski – 1st place in kumite
Dan Capocci – 3rd place in kumite
